In 1981 Jersey issued a gold proof two pound coin for the Royal Marriage of Charles, Prince of Wales & Lady Diana Spencer.
In 1981 Jersey not only issued its first gold proof pound coin, but also a £2 gold proof coin for the Royal Wedding.
