The Government of the Cook Island authorised the Royal Mint to strike this $20 coin to commemorate the Queens Golden Jubilee.On Coronation Eve people arrived in London in their tens of thousands in readiness for the next say's pageantry and that night there were parties with congas and square dances and impromptu sing songs everywhere.
Description The reverse of the coins, designed by Emma Noble, shows rooftops with flags and banners. The denomination "20 Dollars" is underneath the picture.
