1986 Australian Gold Nugget Proof Sets
We occasionally get complete proof sets of Australian gold nuggets .
The 1986 proof set contained the very first Australian nuggets issued. No bullion versions were issued during this first year, but the designs used on the 1986 proof set were eventually used for all the bullion issues from 1987 to 1989 inclusive, until the design theme changed from gold nuggets to kangaroos and wallabies.
