There is growing demand for different date of gold bullion coins. This is especially so for the Australian nugget series, probably because of the attractive designs which change each year after 1989, and also the high quality finish produced by the Australian mint.Because of this, we try to maintain a complete run of dates, although this is not easy, and at any given time, we probably have no more than about 25% of the possible dates in stock. Keeping extra stock increases our stock holding, finance, insurance, and administrative costs, so we have to charge a small premium compared with a straightforward bullion purchase.
We believe our prices are competitive.
