You are bidding to buy 1oz of solid fine gold krugerrand, this is brilliant as both an investment piece and a collectors item.
The coin is in excellent, uncirculated condition!
The value of gold is rising and the Krugerrand is one of the best ways to store valuable gold.
Krugerrand Background Information:-
The Krugerrand is a coin produced in South Africa by the South African Mint Company, this coin was first minted in 1967 in order to promote the South African gold industry. Originally the krugerrand was intended to circulate as currency therefore was minuted using a more durable gold alloy unlike many other bullion coins which adds to its value. The krugerrand is named so due to the reverse side bears the face of Boer statesman Paul Kruger who was a four-term president of the old South African Republic.
Please Note:-
I will post the krugerrand as soon as payment has cleared!
What's Wrong?
We invest a great deal of time, effort, and cost into creating some of the best photographic coin images on the internet. We strongly object when lazy and dishonest people decide to use them without a by your leave or thanks, doing so in competition with us.
Copyright theft is dishonest. We recommend you avoid doing business with dishonest dealers.
This particular eBay seller not only stole our image of the reverse of a 1974 Krugerrand, he used it to sell her own coin on eBay.
He did not bother to tell buyers it was not the same coin as he was hawking.
It's possible he is ignorant of such fine points, or just plain ignorant.
It is always possible, even likely, that sellers who steal photographs do not own a similar coin, and have the intention to totally defraud potential buyers.
The vendor is not only cheating us by stealing our copyright images, he is fraudulently or ignorantly misleading and deceiving all potential buyers. Gaining pecuniary advantage by deception is the definition of fraud.
Price
The seller was asking a starting price of £550 for his coin, which "sold" for £606.50.
She would probably have got more by selling to us when eBay's new 10% selling fees are taken into account, even ignoring PayPal fees, or spending it, although many eBay buyers do overpay for their coins, compared with our own prices for similar or better one ounce gold bullion coins.
