Mexico Gold Bullion Coins
In addition to its older, traditional gold coins, Mexico also issues gold bullion coins in one ounce and fractional weights. We do not regularly handle these as it appears that the Mexican Mint charges more for them than other mints for competing coins. There are at least three different types of the quarter ounce bullion coins, the version we show here has the Mexican arms on the obverse, which consists of an eagle perched on a cactus. The reverse shows a statue of a winged Victory facing left with a mountainous landscape in the background.There is an Mo monogram in the field to the right, for the Mexico City Mint.
