This particular bar was probably made for a European bank, if we can identify the "G" logo on the reverse of the bar, we will be able to tell which bank.

"The "G" logo on the reverse of the bar stands for the Genelare Bank (in dutch) or Banque de la Société Générale de Banque (in french) founded in the first half on the 19th century.
