Hough Precious Metals, of Hesperia, California, USA, are just one of the many coin dealers worldwide who commit copyright theft by using our copyright images without our permission. On their page http://www.centercoin.com/australian_perth_mint/australian_kangaroo_gold_bullion_coin.htm, which we reproduce here, they are clearly using our 2008 Gold Nugget
reverse image.
Hough Precious Metals "About Us" Page W can't find any address on Hough Precious Metals' "About Us" page, which is a bad sign. There is only a telephone number and a rather amatereurish e-mail address. What's the guy got to hide, and why does he not tell us why he is hiding it?

My name is Michael Hough (Pronounced-Huff) and I formed Hough Precious Metals to provide bullion products with great prices and great service. Many years ago I began to purchase gold and silver bars and coins and when more and more of my friends and family began to show interest in precious metals I decided to form a bullion company to provide this service for them and others. There is then an 800 word single paragraph asking "Who is Jesus". We don't know why. Perhaps this is meant to project an image of a decent, law abiding, god-fearing citizen, so that the vast number of Americans who are also churchgoers will trade with Michael Hough instead of some non-Christian.
Come off it Michael Hough, cut out the crap, and tell us what we, and any sensible customer needs to know, where can we contact you.
Perhaps he has seen our page about " In Gold We Trust ".

What's Wrong?
It is dishonest and unethical to pirate and steal other people's work by using high quality copyright photographs without the owner's consent. To do so in competition with them is doubly devious. We can partially understand why they do it; it is quick and easy (but then so is robbing people).
Our Conclusions & Advice Avoid dealing with dishonest companies. If companies like Hough Precious Metals, who paints an image of himself as a sensitive caring person, but one who is dishonest enough to steal our photographs, should you trust him when buying or selling valuable gold or silver coins or bullion? We think not!
