In 2013, The Royal Mint issued a second commemorative £5 gold crown.The first £5 gold crown celebrated the 60th anniverary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and the second coin was issued to mark the Royal Christening of Prince George of Cambridge.
Following the precedent followed in recent years, there are multiple versions of these coins. These include base metal versions in cupro-nickel which should be available at banks and post offices, specimen versions in folder , silver proofs , piedfort silver proofs, gold proof, and piedfort platinum version.
The obverse reverts back to the fourth portrait of the Queen designed by Ian Rank-Broadley, and introduced in 1998.ELIZABETH II D G REG F D
The reverse features the Lily Font, in which Prince George was christened, with lilies and cherubs and the text:
