In 1981 the Isle of Man issued a special issue proof gold coin set for the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana.
Although Princess Diana coin issues are generally popular, those of Prince Charles tend to be less popular. This set, with both of them, falls into the less popular category. We feel this is rather a shame, as we believe the youthful conjoined portraits on this coin set to be an attractive design. It also creates the opportunity for the canny collector to pick up a relative bargain.
