Copyright Theft is Dishonest - Can You Trust This Site? Using other people's copyright images is illegal, it is dishonest, and it is unethical. Using the hard work of a fellow dealer or website owner to sell the same goods or advice in competition with him or her demonstrates an extremely low standard of ethics. We would not recommend anybody to transact business with this person or company.
What's Wrong?
Commodity Trade Alert are using at least one of our high quality copyright gold bar photographs on their "Gold Investment" page, (shown here), and possibly others.
This image is our copyright property, and is being used without our permission.
Who would have thought such honest and respectable people would resort to stealing images from their competitors?
There is no "About Us" page.
Even if Patrick Kerr has any expertise about gold or investments, how could any potential investor have any trust or faith in his advice?

"Commodity Trade Alert" is yet another of the recent epidemic of hastily hacked sites, but is unusual in that it does not appear to have been set up to sell advertising
We are always unimpressed by websites which do not have a clear "About Us" page, or where it is not easy to identify the owner or author. If you own or run a website, why not put your name to it?
A domain search shows the registrant of commoditytradealert.com as CommodityBroker.Net, which seems a strange name for a person, and yet does not appear to be a company name.
There is a clue the the Administrative Contact is shown as "kerr, patrick (sic) ", so we guess that Patrick Kerr is connected to Kerr Commodities. We abhor the modern lazy trend for people to be so lazy that they cannot be bothered to use capitals correctly.
It is not instantly clear from the site whether he is a commodity broker, or simply an enthusiastic investor, observer or economist, and what his levels are knowledge and expertise are.
At least four of the images on his website are ours, anad have been copied and used without our consent, without any credit or link. Probably most of the images on the site are sourced elsewhere, and without their owners permission.
Avoid this site, and all similar sites.
Patrick Kerr should have the courage to publish his name clearly on his site, and to state his expertise. We strongly suspect that he has little expertise, and is therefore simply a charlatan.
