Perhaps we should be flattered by the number of people including dealers who continually infringe our IP (Intellectual Property) rights by using our copyright images, but we do not find it amusing, and will take legal action against any copyright thieves.
Ali Baba (alibaba.com) Alibaba.com Corporation of Hong Kong & Copyright Theft Alibaba (alibaba.com) of Hong Kong are just one of the many websites worldwide who commit copyright theft by using our copyright images without our permission or allowing, permitting, facilitating, or encouraging their use by its members or advertisers.
Alibaba - Dishonest Trading Portal
Alibaba runs a product listing website (portal). On a number of ocacsions we have reported to them copyright abuse by its members or advertisers. On the first of these occasions, we were told that the listing would be removed. We naturally trusted this statement, but when we happened to look again several months later, the same listing was still appearing.
On a number of subsequent occasions, Alibaba have been obstructive, and have failed to remove infringing material. We regard this behaviour as unethical and dishonest, and will be serving them with legal notices in due course.
Forty Thieves The name Ali Baba seems to have been well chosen, except it should be 40 million thieves, if the rest of its advertisers / members are as dishonest as the ones we see, especially if it is Alibaba's policy to obstruct the Intellectual Property Rights Owners in their legitimate efforts to protect copyright.
