2015 Sovereign - NEW Fifth Portrait

2015 Sovereign - Fourth Portrait

For the first time in 100 years, there will be two different designs for the 2015 sovereigns. The new fifth portrait of the Queen was revealed on the 2nd March designed by Royal Mint engraver Jody Clark

2015 Half Sovereigns

We have the proof versions in stock. We currently do not have the uncirculated versions in stock. As with previous years, The Royal Mint do not issue the half uncirculated versions to trade.

2015 Quarter Sovereigns

We do not yet know if The Royal Mint will release the uncirculated quarter sovereign to trade. Even if they do, we think they are too expensive and not great aesthetically or value wise. We still have the first dated (2009) quarter sovereign issued in stock in both proof and uncirculated. Our prices are lower than The Royal Mints issue price of the 2009 quarter sovereigns and 2015 quarter proof sovereigns.

We are able to offer the Five Coin Sovereign Proof Set at a significant discount to the Royal Mint price. This is currently a saving of £100.

2015 Three Coin Gold Sovereign Proof Set

Unfortunately we are unable to purchase this set at a reasonable price without having to forward the expense to our customers.Therefore, we do not expect to stock this set until it becomes available on the secondary market where we will have a greater oppurtunity to offer the set, as what we would think, is a reasonable price. 2015 Coins

Other 2015 coins issued include, Crowns, Two Pounds and Fifty Pences. Each of these coins are minted in gold, silver, and base metal versions. They often commemorate events, births, deaths, or other celebrations. This year the coins commemorate or celebrate Winston Churchill , The Battle of Britain , The Battle of Waterloo , The Magna Carta, and The Royal Navy. 2015 1oz Gold Year of the Sheep by The Royal Mint

The second coin in the Royal Mint's lunar series is the Year of the Sheep. As British legal tender, they are exempt from Capital Gains Tax .

2015 Gold Bullion (Uncirculated) Britannias

One of the most popular bullion coins, the Britannia is free from Capital Gains Tax .

Britannia Proof Sets

Of all 4 weights, from the 1oz down to the 1/10oz coin. We didn't stock these during 2013 or 2014 as we were unable to buy them in the trade. We will see what we can do this year.

2015 Proof Quarter Ounce Britannias

A popular alternative to the proof sovereign. Usually released about August. We probably won't stock them until they are available on the secondary market.

With a different design every year, the Panda is a very popular series and we now have them in stock.

Isle of Man

Manx Angels

We don't usually stock the new Manx Angels unless we get offered them at a reduced premium. However, if you would like a quantity of them please give us a call as we should be able to source them for you.

Manx Cats

We are able to source Manx cats and often purchase small quantities of each of the different sizes. We do not know when this is likely to be but if you would like to hurry us along then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

U.S.

The U.S. are issuing two one ounce gold coins, we hope to have the 2015 Eagles and 2015 Buffalos in stock during 2015 if demand allows us.
