Design
The obverse of the coin features the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley. This is the final year the portrait was featured on the coins after being replaced by a new, fifth portrait, by Jody Clark.
The reverse shows the iconic image of George slaying the dragon. This was designed by Benedetto Pistrucci and has appeared on coins since 1817.

Royal Mint Prices
We have always thought the three coin set to be too expensive to make them a worthwhile purchase. Many people obviously agree as it is one of the few products that many UK dealers do not stock.
