The reverse of the coins, designed by Philip Nathan, depicts a portrait of H.R.H Prince Charles and a portrait of Lady Diana Spencer with the badge of the Government of Gibraltar above. The inscription "Royal Wedding" is to the left and the denomination "Fifty Pounds" is to the right of the right of the badge.
